dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study was to know the preference of resolving
the legal cases to people of Belo within the scope of criminal and
civil law, the reason and the way of the problem completion was
outside of the positive law. This study was non-doctrinal or qualitative or
socio-legal research using the sociological approach. The data used was
primary, secondary and tertiary data. The results of the study showed
that: (1) almost of all the criminal cases and civil cases (except murder
and adultery) have been completed outside of the positive law by people
of Belo. (2) There are fourmodels of resolving the problem outside of the
positive law hierarchically such as: first, the settlement negotiated in a
closed. Secondly, the settlement arbitrated by the leader of village.
Thirdly, the settlement arbitrated by officials and government. Fourthly,
the completion of the Police and Courts. | en_US |
