Strategi Pengembangan Kawasan Pariwisata Perkotaan Studi Kasus Jakarta
Abstract
Tourism impacts for economic growth and social welfare. However, in order to have optimal
development of tourist areas it is necessary to have strategy. The purpose of this study is to
identify the main factors in determining the strategy of tourist areas development. Data were
collected through in-depth interview to the public and private sector experts of tourism. Data
were analyzed by using the Analytic Network Process (ANP). The results of this research is the
development strategy of urban tourism area which the order of priorities are the quality of
human resource development, increased stakeholder commitment, excellent service, and global
marketing. Results are expected to be used as input to government policy makers, private sector
and communities inin developing tourism.
