The ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) charter signed on 20 November 2007, that
yield is ASEAN focus on economic integration process towards the ASEAN Economic
Community (AEC). This research was carried out related to the holding of the 2015 ASEAN
Free Trade Area (AFTA), with the object of research is the perception of batik’s entrepreneur in
the city of Yogyakarta to face of the AFTA 2015. The purpose of this study was to determine the
factors that influence the perception of batik’s entrepreneur in the city of Yogyakarta. This
research used a primary data by sampling using a questionnaire. The method of analysis that
used in this study is the Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The software used in this
research is SPSS 17. This research produced 4 factors that influence the perception of batik’s
entrepreneur in the city of Yogyakarta in the face of AFTA 2015, There are the Products and
Capital Factors, Management of Business Factors, Opportunities and Challenges Facing the
Free Market Factors, and External Factors.
