dc.description.abstractCommunity Service activities were conducted in two elementary schools in Regency of Sukoharjo that were Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Toriyo and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Gayam. MIM of Toriyo total of students approximately 156 people and MIM Gayam 180 people. Analysis of the situation in both schools that snacks vendors were in the school environment. Lots of snacks and not known to be safe or not for health. In general, students were free to buy snacks at school. The method of this activitiy was done by giving a pretest, distribution of drawing story media, lectures and discussions, providing door prizes and post test, furthermore this activity was done evaluation.In general, the results of post-test at two elementary schools of MIM increased in knowledge and attitude of snacks food security at school. At MIM Gayam, the whole attitude assessment increased for teachers 18.6 points; grade three 3.23 points; fourth grade 9.45; grade five and grade six 3 points 31, 9 points. The average grade in elementary Toriyo attitude for the entire group of participants had increased except grade 3 decreased 5.94 points. The average value of knowledge for the entire group of participants in MIM Gayam increased. While in MIM Toriyo average rose except for grade 3 and grade 4. Average knowledge assessment in Grade 3 declined 1.05 points and class 4 had a decreased of 2.1. Conclusion of the results of this activity were generally teachers and elementary school students still lack an understanding of the security of snacks in school before the event was held. Subsequent to the events, there was an average increase in knowledge and attitude towards snacks food security at school.in_ID
