Pengembangan Kemampuan Menulis Kreatif melalui Siaran Pembinaan Bahasa Indonesia di Radio Republik Indonesia Surakarta

Abstract

This public service has four main aims, they are: (1) to take part in improving motivation of the society, especially for the students in order to share their ideas in the form of written texts; (2) to take part in improving the quality and the quantity of the creative written work; (3) to enlarge the knowledge of the listeners, especially for the students in exploring the linguistics, the literary, and its teaching; (4) to maintain the institution mutual benefits between Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and the government institution i.e. Radio Republik Indonesia Surakarta. This public service was held at RRI Surakarta by on air lecturing based on papers that have been prepared before. Broadcasting activities were carried out with the tape recorder before on air broadcast. The recordings were carried out using the facilities in RRI Surakarta guided by employees of RRI Surakarta. This activity is carried out which the speech broadcast by a speaker with a varied topic but still in a one theme. The theme of this three months period was “Improving Creative Writing Ability”. The sixth time broadcast activities planned for three months where a new broadcast can be done six times.
