Motivasi Belajar, Penyesuaian Diri, Kepuasan Mahasiswa dan Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa di Universitas X
Abstract
Higher education’s tuition fees are becoming obstacle for several high school students that coming from poor family background to continue their study at higher level. To solve that problem, higher education institution gives scholarship programs to attract prospective students to enroll in their university. The purpose of scholarship program is to support students financially; hopefully they can concentrate more in academic matters. In this research, academic achievement will measured using student’s cumulative GPA; meanwhile student’s learning motivation, self adjustment and student’s satisfaction will be assessed with some questionnaires based on Likert scale. Participant of this research are 174 scholarship students of University X. The hypothesis test showed that learning motivation, self adjustment, and student’s satisfaction has a significant influence toward academic achievement as much as 5,2 %. Learning motivation, and student’s satisfaction are proved to have significant partial correlation with academic achievement (p<0.05). Meanwhile, Self Adjustment has no significant partial correlation with academic achievement of scholarship students at University "X".
