dc.description.abstractAnak sekarang hidup dalam lingkungan media yang kompleks (televisi, komputer, internet, handphone dan perangkat elektronik digital lainnya). Media memiliki kekuatan dan memainkan peran tak terpisahkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak-anak. Penggunaan media teknologi meningkat secara signifikan khususnya pada anak. Anak telah menjadi pengguna aktif media, sementara banyak media yang tidak ramah bagi anak. Meski paparan berulang media terhadap anak bisa jadi kecil pengaruhnya tetapi akumulasi efeknya adalah timbulnya keyakinan tentang dunia nyata. Karena itu, atmosfer media yang ramah buat anak menjadi isu penting. Penciptaan perangkat lunak yang ramah anak, pengelolaan media dan penggunaan media yang ramah anak perlu dilakukan. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran dari literatur tentang efek paparan media, jenis media yang digunakan anak, serta bagaimana merencanakan dan mengembangkan media yang ramah bagi anak. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi orangtua, anak, pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan tentang pemanfaatan media yang ramah bagi anak.in_ID
