dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to know the students’ participation in joining the subject of Chemist Physics I by using constructivism learning model 5E intervened by concept map with computer as media. This action research was done by two cycles started from action up to reflection. Chemist department of FKIP UNS 2007 was the place of the research. The result of the research indicates that (1) constructivism learning model 5E intervened by concept map with computer as media is able to increase the students’ participation in joining the subject of Chemist Physics 1. The students’ participation covers: their attendance 83,04%, their interest 61,30 %, their asking activity 53,91%, their listening and noting activity 65,22%, their doing the task 65,22%, and their using library facilities 59,13%en_US
