dc.description.abstractThis article is written based on a descriptive qualitative study aims at describing translation accuracy of English sentences into Indonesian. The data are all types of English sentences based on their function and their Indonesian translation in The Hunger Games novel. The data are collected using content analysis and analyzed using Baker’s theory of equivalence and Nababan’s of accuracy. Based on the classified data, the sentences can be divided into declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory. From those analysis, it can be concluded the translation accuracy of the sentences are accurate and less accurate.in_ID
