    Abstract
    In an effort to implement the economic development of a country in order to improve the welfare of people in the entire region, there are some fundamental problems, including the problem of corruption and issues of growth as increased ability to produce the goods and services in various fields are expanding. This study aimed to analyze the effects of corruption and the national income to economic development in the Islamic countries members of the OIC. Data from 52 countries were analyzed with multiple linear regression where the results showed that the variables of corruption is significantly and positively effect of 42.1% to economic development and national income variables significantly and positively effect of 0.5% on economic development. Taken together (simultaneously), corruption and national income variables significantly have positive effect 33.0% on the economic development variable.
