HUBUNGAN SIKAP, MOTIVASI, DAN PERILAKU IBU DALAM MENGKONSUMSI TABLET FE DENGAN KEJADIAN ANEMIA PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KEDUNGWUNI II KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Abstract

The prevalence of anemia among pregnant women of third trimester as high as 24.85%. The fulfillment of iron during pregnancy is influenced by attitudes and behaviour. Iron consumption practice is influenced by mother‟s motivation.This study is aimed at determining the relationship between attitude, motivation, and behavior of a mother in consuming tablet Fe and the incident of anemia among pregnant mother‟s at trimester III at Public Health Center of Kedungwuni II Pekalongan Regency. Design at this study used descriptive correlative, with cross sectional approach it used purposive sampling technique. The number of samples were 96 respondents. Univariate analysis used distribution of frequency and for bivariate analysis at used chi square. The result of study showed more than half of pregnant motherof trimestetIII had less good attitude, good motivation, and bad behavior in consuming tablet Fe and also most pregnant women of the third trimester got anemia. This research discovere that there is a relationship the attitude, motivation, and behavior of mother in consuming tablet Fe and the incident anemia in pregnant the mothers at trimester III in Public Health Centet of Kedungwuni II Pekalongan Regency with ρ value 0,000 α (0,05). It Is suggested that health workers should increase the monitoring to the implementation of giving tablet Fe and the education program about importance of consuming tablet Fe.
