DINAMIKA PERKEMBANGAN PEGADAIAN SYARIAH DI INDONESIA

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate and examine the dynamics of Islamic fiduciary services in Indonesia.Islamic economy system is very beneficial to the community at this time, but many people do not yet understand the differences between conventional and Islamic fiduciary services as a whole both in concept and its implementation. This paper uses analysis method of a review of the literature and to examine previous research relating to the history and development of the Islamic fiduciary services in Indonesia. The results show that Islamic fiduciary services in Indonesia are near to Islamic idealism. It can be seen in term of the fact that the system of financing, the cost of storage, the deadline for auction, and frequent misunderstanding between parties in Islamic fiduciary services with the public, due to the lack of adequate facilities from the Islamic fiduciary services as well. So that,massive education is very important to increase the knowledge of the community in term of that institution.
