Hubungan Antara Supervisi Kepala Ruang Dengan Kelengkapan Dokumentasi Keperawatan Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rsu Pku Muhammadiyah Gubug Tahun 2016

Abstract

Completeness of nursing documentation is an important activity to achieve optimal results. Supervision and evaluation are the important part of the overall managements and leadership responsibilities. This understanding also exists in nursing management. To manage nursing care, it needs management capabilities of the professional nurse. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the supervision of the head room worker and complete nursing documentation of inpatient room of RSU PKU Muhammadiyah, Gubug. The method of the research was quantitative method with the use of cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 40 respondents of health workers. Samples was done using total sampling of 40 respondents. Data were analyzed by Spearman rank test. The result showed the supervision of the head of room was mostly less well including 31 respondents (77.5%). Documentation of nursing care was mostly better as many as 23 respondents (57.5%). There was no relationship between the supervision of the head room worker and complete nursing documentation of inpatient room of RSU PKU Muhammadiyah, Gubug (p value 0.897). Suggestions for hospitals are to fulfill periodic supervision of the nursing documentation for completeness of documentation because it is a legal aspect that is important to know the patient's actions and developments of patients in hospital.
