Hubungan Komunikasi Teraupetik Verbal Dan Non Verbal Perawat Dengan Tingkat Kecemasan Keluarga Pasien Di Instalasi Perawatan Intensif Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Kudus

Abstract

The results of a preliminary study showed that 2 families expressed an ggota nurses communicate in a language that is easily understood, and 3 family members stated that nurses in giving information many still use jargon, unintelligible so family members became worried. The research objective was to determine the relationship of therapeutic communication verbal and non- verbal nurse with family anxiety levels of patients treated in the Intensive Care Installation Kudus District General Hospital . This type of research is a descriptive, cross-sectional approach. Samples as many as 37 family members who have relatives who were in the Installation Intensive Care. Sampling is done by consecutive sampling technique. Instrument nurse communication and anxiety using a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing research using correlation test Chi - Square. Analysis using Person Chi- Square, showed Pearson che- square is greater than 7,565 chi – square table with df2 5.591 and look at the colum Asymp. Sig is 0.023 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted means there is relationship therapeutic communication verbal and nonverbal nurse anxiety level of patients with family in the installation intensive care kudus district general hospital
