Rice is the most commonly grown commodities in Indonesia. The population growth accompanies the increase of demand for rice in the country from year to year. Many obstacles in meeting the needs of rice, such as paddy cultivation knowledge, tools are still traditional, and ownership of land by farmers which average only 0.2-0.3 hectares. Farming in Indonesia is a hereditary activity that is not yet to get technology touch, and this is inefficient. Agricultural technology began to be developed in ndonesia, replacing human labor into machine. Anticipating prices fell drastically in the first planting season (October-February), the farmers take advantage of a warehouse owned by the government, managed by PERTANI ltd. The Warehouse receipt System is farmer strategy to avoid losses, and prepare their capital for the next planting season. Warehouse receipt System is a guarantee for farmers, as well as proof of deposit and collateral to obtain financing from banking sector. Sources allocated by banks could be the capital for the farmers for the next planting season. When grain price rises, farmers can sell their produce stored in warehouse. In addition, when the harvest is reduced, there are warehouses that maintain the availability of grain. These schemes as well be the answer to the inflation caused by the scarcity of rice. This is a qualitative study that uses a case study approach. In fact, the feasibility of rice requires Rp 180 million financing includes the cost of land rental for 3 years, and operational costs. Total operating expenses were Rp 16,475,000 per growing season. Analysis of the feasibility resulting that in one hectare, there is an NPV Rp 23,661,613 at an interest rate of 13%, with 8% IRR and a net B / C ratio of 1.12 or more than one, with a payback period about 2 to 4 years.in_ID
