dc.description.abstractDalam menjalankan kegiatan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi (pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian pada masyarakat), perilaku berbagi pengetahuan (knowledge sharing) yang meliputi perilaku mengumpulkan pengetahuan (collecting) dan perilaku menyebarkan pengetahuan (donating) merupakan kegiatan yang akan selalu dijalankan oleh dosen. Pada banyak studi, perilaku berbagi pengetahuan terjadi karena adanya faktor individu dan faktor organisasi. Kebanyakan penelitian mengenai perilaku berbagi pengetahuan dan anteseden-anteseden yang mempengaruhinya dilakukan pada organisasi bisnis. Masih sedikit penelitian mengenai hal tersebut dilakukan pada institusi pendidikan tinggi. Artikel ini menganalisis faktor individu yaitu efikasi diri dan faktor organisasi yaitu pemanfaatan komunikasi virtual dalam perguruan tinggi sebagai anteseden munculnya perilaku berbagi pengetahuan pada dosen. Artikel ini mengambil 150 sampel dosen dari beberapa perguruan tinggi negeri, swasta, kedinasan dan keagamaan daribeberapa kota di Indonesia. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa efikasi diri yang dimiliki dosen berpengaruh terhadap terbentuknya perilaku berbagi pengetahuan. Selain itu juga ditemukan penggunaan komunikasi virtual memperkuat hubungan antara efikasi diri dan perilaku berbagi pengetahuan pada diri dosen.in_ID
