EOQ dan JIT: Mana yang Lebih Tepat Diterapkan Perusahaan Manufaktur?

Abstract

Globalization and the high level of competition in the enterprise environment requires the managers of these companies to look for ways to increase profits through increased production, which can be applied in practice saving production. The purpose of writing this work to compare which method is more appropriate in a manufacturing company, whether the method Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) where this method assumes that the supplies required in the production process or method of Just In Time (JIT). Based on literature that have been done, JIT method is more appropriate in manufacturing company, inventory cost can be allocated to other in order to increase corporate profits.
