Abstract

Proverty is a common social problem in many developing, countries icluded Indonesia. This research is intended to undertand the follow up of the national policy on fighting proverty especially its formulation in local legislative product. Data collection is done thorough interviews and focus group study, while data analysis is done by using content analysis on research material. The result shows that the follow up of national policy on fighting proverty which are formulated in local legislative products since the local autonomy took place, indicates the high commitment of local government on fighting proverty. Mean while, the fighting on proverty in local areas is less of synchronize, which is seen on the various interpretation by each local government
