Home Mentoring, Suatu Upaya Rekonstruksi Pembelajaran Kemuhammadiyahan
Abstract
Question on the significance of kemuhammadiyahan education to
the movement and development of Muhammadiyah is always
addressed to Kemuhammadiyahan teachers all over Indonesia. This is
because of the fact that the amount of students of Muhammadiyah
schools is not always in balance with the amount of activists of
Muhammadiyah Ranting where the students live. The critical
question drives an assumption on the teaching and learning process of
Kemuhammadiyahan Education which is identical to teaching and
learning the history of Muhammadiyah. This paper tries to propose a
solution, namely a home mentoring program with the purpose of
bringing about students to the real life of Muhammadiyah. The basis
of this project is Pimpinan Ranting Muhammadiyah and its all
Organisasi otonom. Students are devided into several group of five to
ten with one mentor for each group. The task of the mentor is to
nurtur students to be involved to the activities of Pimpinan Ranting.
By joining this program it is hoped that the students will experience
activities and life of Muhammadiyah activists which in turn give
them sense of bein jamaah Muhammadiyah.
