dc.description.abstractPerkuatan lereng dengan berbagai metode telah banyak dilakukan, namun penerapannya tidak dapat dilakukan disetiap tempat yang berbeda dan biaya yang mahal terkadang menjadi kendala. Penelitian awal ini mempelajari pemanfaatan penopang blok pengaman terhadap penggunaan riprap sebagai alternatif perkuatan lereng dengan membuat model skala laboratorium. Pembuatan model perkuatan lereng dengan blok tipe x diharapkan dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kegagalan dalam perkuatan lereng. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur besar uji kuat tarik blok tipe x untuk menghasilkan perkuatan lereng yang lebih maksimal. Hasil pengujian terhadap 4 sampel, terlihat bahwa kuat tarik model blok x Brace lebih besar dibandingkan dengan model blok x terkunci, hal ini disebabkan karena perbedaan bentuk penampang dari kedua blok. Penampang blok tipe x brace menyatu sedangkan blok tipe x terkunci terpisah secara bersusun. Penelitian ini diharapkan menghasilkan nilai uji kuat tarik yang maksimal pada blok tipe x sebagai penopang riprap untuk menambah nilai kestabilan lereng.id_ID
