dc.description.abstractPerubahan global yang sangat cepat akibat revolusi industri mengakibatkan perubahan dalam segala bidang kehidupan termasuk pendidikan, namun perubahan bidang pendidikan tidak secepat perubahan bidang industri sehingga sering disebut evolusi pendidikan. Perubahan pendekatan pendidikan dari pedagogi, andragogi, heutagogi, dan cybergogi, menimbulkan tantangan bagi peserta didik, pendidik, dan lembaga pendidikan. Salah satu tantangan adalah bagaimana menumbuhkembangkan dan menguatkan self-regulated learning (SRL), sebagai pendorong suksesnya peserta didik dalam belajar. SRL secara umum memiliki tiga fase, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Setiap fase melibatkan proses mikro yang kompleks pada diri self-regulated learner, karena dipengaruhi berbagai faktor, di antaranya: motivasi, emosi, perilaku, manajemen waktu, kognisi, metakognisi, fungsi eksekutif, fungsi fisik, manajemen konteks, dan keterampilan akademik. Pendidik merupakan fasilitator dalam pengembangan SRL peserta didik, sehingga diharapkan juga memiliki keterampilan SRL dan keterampilan lain, di antaranya kecakapan untuk menerima dan mengelola ambiguitas, kemampuan memupuk keterlibatan, kapasitas untuk belajar, dan kemampuan menerapkan sistem keterbukaan berpikir.id_ID
