KONTRIBUSI KEPEMIMPINAN DAN BUDAYA ORGANISASI MELALUI KOMPETENSI TERHADAP PERAN DOSEN DALAM PENJAMINAN MUTU DI PTS SE KARESIDENAN SURAKARTA
Abstract
The purposes of the research are (1) to find the empirical certified model of contribution
leadership and organization culture through lecturer competency toward the lecturer role in
quality assurance, (2) to describe the contribution of leadership and organization culture partially
and simultaneously toward lecturer competency, (3) to describe the contribution of lecturer
competency toward lecturer role in quality assurance. Subjects of this research are lecturers of
private University in Surakarta resident with the total two hundreds and six person. Questionnaire
was used to collect the data. Data analysis used Structure Equivalence Model (SEM). The research
results some findings. Those are (1) there is an appropriate conceptual model and certified empirical
model of contribution leadership and organization culture through lecturer competency toward
the lecturer role in quality assurance in private university (P – value 0.34>0.05 and RMSEA
0.01< 0.05), (2) the contribution of leadership variable toward lecturer competency is 30,25%
and the contribution of organization culture toward lecturer competency is 9,61%, and the
contribution of leadership and organization culture partially and simultaneously toward lecturer
competency is 42%, (3) the contribution of lecturer competency toward lecturer role in quality
assurance is 8.41%. The implication of this research is if the institution wants to increase the
lecturer role in quality assurance in private university, it is needed the visionary leadership
development and establish organization culture supported by some lecturers with high competences.
