KURIKULUM BAHASA INGGRIS UNTUK SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This writing discusses the curriculum of English for the Elementary School. The problem is that the English teachers of Elementary School still apply the curriculum which is inappropriately developed. That problem is solved by presenting the curriculum of English for the Elementary School and then question and answer. The curriculum of English for it can be the core curriculum, local curriculum, or curricular curriculum. What curriculum is applied must be able to be used as the base for the devevelopment of English curriculum for Junior High School. The English subject at the Elementary School constitutes the subject which is based on the certain type of curriculum, viz. the broad field curriculum. The certain curriculum that has been implemented by the English teachers of the Elementary School in their teaching can be the cause of the students’ failure in learning English.
