Analisis Dampak Kegiatan Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MSIB) dalam Peningkatan Keterampilan dan Keahlian Lulusan Program Studi Akuntansi (Magang pada PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk.)

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program is developed a tremendous change in the learning process in higher education. Several activities are offered to improve students' hard and soft skills, including Internships and Certified Independent Studies-Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MISB). This activity focuses on training students as trainees to work and/or study for a certain period of time under the auspices of partners. PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk. (BSI) is one of the partners which is able to provide an extraordinary experience for the trainees. Analysis of the implementation of MISB activities is carried out with a quantitative approach based on analysis of the results of surveys to students and lecturers as well as the implementation of MISB. MISB activities are very different from the general internship program because MISB are more structured, more conceptual, and very universal. MSIB participants can interact with professionals directly. A good track record is able to make MISB students develop the image and reputation of the Accounting Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) and the UMS Campus to MSIB partner companies
