dc.description.abstractThe Ministry of Education, culture, research and technology initiated the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka curriculum as a new breakthrough in encouraging the creation of superior and skilled Indonesian human resources. The eight programs included in the MBKM are considered to be a forum for students and lecturers in the learning process. This new curriculum is still in the process so it is necessary to know the extent of its usefulness. The study used a descriptive method to determine the MBKM program for nursing study programs, with a total sampling of 410 students and 14 lecturers of nursing study programs. The results of this study indicate that the application of the MBKM curriculum in the nursing study program at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) has several benefits including; improvement of learning process, improvement of student's soft skills and hard skills, improvement of lecturer's capacity and achievement of goals to fulfill CPL. The implementation of the MBKM program also plays a role in improving the soft skills and hard skills of university students. Soft skills competencies that can be obtained by students from internship activities, including communication skills, adapting to work, managing teamwork, socializing, and thoroughness in workid_ID
