dc.description.abstractTulisan ini memaparkan pengembangan persamaan regresi untuk menentukan persepsi kenyamanan termal bagi pejalan kaki di iklim tropis lembab. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi lapangan dan kuesioner kepada 60 sampel sebagai responden, dengan lokasi di Kota Manado. Mereka diminta bertindak sebagai pejalan kaki dan berjalan di atas treadmill masing-masing selama 5 x 2 menit. Responden dikelompokkan menjadi dua bagian, satu yang beraktifitas di bawah langit terbuka dan kelompok lain berada di bawah naungan pohon. Pengukuran variabel iklim meliputi suhu udara, kelembaban udara, suhu radiasi, suhu permukaan tanah dan radiasi matahari. Pendataan responden meliputi tinggi, berat dan suhu kulit mereka. Dengan pendekatan statistik diperoleh persamaan regresi “Y = - 6,1369 + 0,479 + 0,1143 Adu Ta + 0,0376 + 0,2541 TRM RH + 1,6793 Clo”. Persamaan ini kemudian divalidasi melalui perbandingan dengan persamaan lain untuk non-iklim tropis lembab. Ditemukan bahwa persamaan empiris persepsi termal luar ruang ternyata tidak dapat diterapkan untuk berbagai macam iklim, tetapi digunakan hanya untuk iklim tertentu sesuai batasan.en_US
