dc.description.abstractThe implementation of a project often encountered cases of delays in the proceedings. The project implementers will consider how to improve conditions so that the completion of the project will be on time. On Jl. Gajah Mada, Purwodadi at segmen 1, it known that on week 24 occurred late at 13.5869%. One of solutions to evaluate and control the project is using the concept of backup time. The process of analysis and calculations relating to the concept of backup time using Precedent Diagram Method (PDM) and Activity on Node (AON). The delay on this project due to the efficiency and productivity tools and workers less than the maximum. Remaining of backup time owned by project is 38 weeks or equal to 219 days with a service life of 6 days a week. The project will be created a new network using the PDM starting at week 25. From the depiction of PDM obtained trajectories of critical jobs.The result of this study is that project can be completed with the remaining of backup time. Acceleration of this project led to a decrease and increase of efficiency and productivity of equipment and workers for 0,5% to 35,79% for a decrease and for 0,19% to 61,5% for efficiency and productivity increased of workers, acceleration of this project can decrease the cost of the project amounting to Rp 173.277.820,00en_US
