Abstract
This research has four objectives. (1) It is to evaluate influence of the
participation in the activity of subject teacher community, supervision of
class-room visit, and in-service training simultaneously towards the teacher
profesional competence. (2) It is to evaluate influence of the participation in the
activity of subject teacher community towards the teacher professional competence.
(3) It is to evaluate influence of supervision of classroom visit toward the teacher
profesional competence. (4) It is to evaluate influence of in-service training towards
the teacher professional competence.
This is a functional correlation and expost vacto research.The population of
this research is the state junior high teachers in sub rayon 04 Jakenan Pati who
teach subject tested in final examination by 163 people. It uses sampling technique,
that is proportional stratifiad random sampling technique by 114 people. The
method of data collection uses questionnare and the data analysis uses multiple
liniar regression.
The results showed that (1) is a positive and significant influence of taking
part in activity of subject teacher commonity, supervision of classroom visit, and
in-service training toward the improvement of teacher professional competence,
simultaneously, with sig probability of 0,000 < 0,05. The contribution is 83,1%.
(2) There is a positive and significance influence of the taking part in activity of
subject teacher community towards the teacher proffessional competence with sig.
probability of 0,000 < 0,05 and the effective contribution is 69,84%. (3) There is a
positive and significance influence the supervision of classroom visit toward the
teacher proffessional competence with sig. probability of 0,026 < 0,05 and the
effective contribution is 3,32%. (4) There is a positive and significance influence
the in-service training toward the teacher professional competence with sig.
probability of 0,003 < 0,05 and effective contribution is 10,33%.
