Abstract
Increasing the reconstruction ability in historical momentum using concept map at
Social Science subject become the focus of the study. This action research took 37 students as
research subject. This research was done by two cycles. The data were collected by observation,
interview, and test, and then analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The result shows that teaching
using concept map can be used to increase the reconstruction ability in historical momentum at
Social Science Subject of Class IX A SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta.
