dc.description.abstractThe Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia remains as one of priorities in public health indicators of achievement. The MMR data of district Sukoharjo showed fluctuating data. in 2011, Sub District Polokarto was the region with the highest MMR. One effort to reduce MMR is to improve Ante- natal Care (ANC). ANC coverage in the region of K1 Polokarto Primary Health Service in 2009 was 95.42% then decreased to 78.64% in 2010. This research’s aim was to analyze the influence of mater- nal age, occupational status, knowledge, spacing of pregnancies, history of disease, history of abor- tion, parity and husband support of ANC in pregnant women of the district. This research was an observational research using Cross Sectional approach. The respondents of this study were pregnant women in sub Polokarto. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Statistic test used was Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was not any relationship of maternal age (p = 0.485), occupational status (p = 0,077), knowledge (p = 0.201), spacing of pregnancies (p = 1,000), history of disease (p = 1.000), history of abortion (p = 1.000), parity (p = 1.000) and the support of husband (p = 0.355) and ANC in pregnant women of the district.en_US
