dc.description.abstract | Pain is the most common symptoms of patients in the daily practice of
physiotherapy. From several modalities of physical therapy, infrared therapy is
the modality most often used to reduce pain. In use non luminous infrared
distance lamp used is between 45-60 cm, the ray perpendicular to the cultivated
area treated and the time between 10-30 minutes. On the use of luminous infrared
distance 35-45 cm, ray perpendicular cultivated, the time between 10-30 minutes
tailored to the condition of the disease.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of infra-red range of the
pain threshold.This study is a true experiment with a population of members of the
Ikatan Muda Mudi Margomulyo, Desa Jono, Kecamatan Tanon kabupaten Sragen
and the study sample as many as 28 youths. Research instruments in the form of
TENS brands Inwubums and Infrared irradiation with infrared distance 35cm and
45 cm. Techniques of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test Test or
Paired sample t-test.
Conclusions in this study are (1) there is a difference in the effectiveness of
infra-red range of the threshold of pain stimuli and (2) on the Infrared radiation
with a distance of 35 cm more effectively increase the pain threshold of the
infrared radiation at a distance of 45 cm. | en_US |
