Abstract

Scription is a scientific paper that follows a procedure in scientific research, who made by students strata one (S1) as the embryo of a scholar degree. difficulties was faced by students in preparing this thesis can lead their psychological disorders in students that effecting anxiety, one of the determining factors is the role of preceptor lecturers. This study aims to examine the correlation between the preceptor lecturers role with nursing students' anxiety in facing the final thesis at Health Sciences Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This study used a correlative descriptive with cross sectional approach . The population is Nursing student of 2007 who is facing a final thesis which totaled 81, with a sample is 68 respondents. The sampling technique using Simple random sampling. Statistical analysis used was Fisher, with confidence level α = 0.05. Based on this research can be seen that the known result that the value of Fisher test about the relationship between the preceptor lecturers role with nursing students' anxiety in facing the final thesis is 0.000 less than the value of p 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), with correlation values 29.386 . Then Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between the preceptor lecturers role with nursing students' anxiety in facing the final thesis at Health Sciences Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta.
