dc.description.abstract | Spatial data processing using Geographic information system has been applied to study potency water resources in Boyolali regency. The
region has wide area within various morphological unit, rainfall, groundwater potency and springs. Hidrologically, based on the condition,
having various potencial of water resources. The research conduct to create map of water resources potencial in the region and using the
map to spatially analyses water resources. The map created using principle of spatial aver laying in Geographic Information System. Spatial
layers including morphological unit, rainfall, groundwater potencial and spring distribution overlayed by using GIS tool to produce water
recources potencial map.The Result of research indicates that by using spatial analysis in geographic information system can know area
which potential water resources . The most most potential areas covers fluvial plain area of volcano covering District of Sawit, Banyudono,
Ngemplak, Teras ,Nogosari, and Simo, then fluvial plain area of foot volcano, which covers district of Mojosongo, Boyolali Teras , Ampel,
and Musuk, volcanic foot covers district of Cepogo and Selo. Un favourable potency in district of Wonosegoro, Kemusu and Juwangi. | en_US |
