Kritik atas Teologi Trinitarianisme: Ketidaksantunan dalam The Escaped Cock Karya D. H. Lawrence
Abstract
Studies on impoliteness have focused on the authentic interaction between
participants. On the one hand, the sources of the interaction have varied including the
dialogues between characters in plays. However, the studies have treated the
dialogues as authentic rather than artificial ones, disregarding the author as part of
the communication event, on the other hand. In this paper, I put the author at the
central role in the communication with the impersonal reader both at the individual
and collective level. Finally, I demonstrate that impoliteness in literature serves as a
tool for the author to communicate his criticism against the dominant culture.
