The aims of this study were to describe (1) the planning of learning based
CTL at Boyolali I of Elementary School (2) the implementation of learning
based CTL at Boyolali I of Elementary School (3) the evaluation and sustainability
of learning based CTL at Boyolali I of Elementary School. It was a case study by
using qualitative method. The subjects of this research were principal, teacher
and students at Boyolali I of Elementary School. The result of this study shows
that the planning that made by the teachers at Boyolali I Elementary School are
consisted of syllabus, lesson plan, media and source of study as well. Meanwhile
the implementation of learning has done not only in the class but also outside
where the students are able to explore the material contextually. The implementation
of learning based CTL at Boyolali I Elementary School covered classroom
management, materials, media and students interaction. Evaluation process has
done by two procedures –result and process – Meanwhile remedial was the
solution of sustainability.
