KONFIGURASI MEDAN LEKSIKAL VERBAL INDONESIA YANG BERKOMPONEN MAKNA (+SUARA +INSAN)
Abstract
This paper explores lexical fields of (+HUMAN +VOICE) in the Indonesian
language formed by verbal lexical items which are simple, internal and
intra-lingual. The theoretical framework applied in this research is structural
semantics. Through component analysis, I discovered system, structure and
configuration of these fields. The relation of lexical items and the relation of
lexical fields can be established in terms of non-binary contrast system. This
system specified from the interactions of distinctive components and lexical
items of the lexical fields. On the basis of common semantic reactions which
signify a given components in relation to a given lexical item, these fields can
be classified into fourteen lexical fields. They can be structured to a six-level
hierarchy from the highest to the lowest level.
