PENGARUH AMBULASI DINI TERHADAP PEMULIHAN PERISTALTIK USUS PASIEN PASKA OPERASI FRAKTUR FEMUR DENGAN ANESTESI UMUM DI RSUI KUSTATI SURAKARTA
Abstract
Post-surgery patients with general anesthesia frequently complain because they must wait for long time for
ending their fasting period, and post-surgery ambulation is not to be a protap in Kustati Islamic Hospital of
Surakarta. Purpose of the research is to know: there is any effect of early ambulation of post-femur fracture
surgery with general anesthesia on intestine peristaltic activities in Kustati Islamic Hospital of Surakarta.
Research sample was 20 respondents that divided into two groups, namely, 10 respondents as ambulationtreated
group (experiment) and other 10 respondents as control group. The sample was taken by using
purposive sampling technique with minimal randomization. Analysis used ANOVA statistical test with result
as follows: Festimation= 5.063 is greater than Ftable=4.41 (degree of freedom=1.18; significance level=5%) or
with significance p<0.05. Then, H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means there is the
effect of early ambulation on recovery rate of intestines peristaltic in patient of post-fracture femur surgery
with general anesthesia.
