dc.description.abstractDalam upaya untuk mengurangi biaya operasional pengelolaan material pada suatu sistem rantai pasok, aliran material dari hulu hingga hilir perlu dirampingkan. Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui koordinasi penentuan ukuran lot produksi dan lot pengiriman antara pemasok dan distributor sehingga level dead stock pada keseluruhan sistem rantai pasok menjadi rendah. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan suatu model matematika yang menggambarkan sinkronisasi ukuran lot produksi pada pemasok dan distributor. Pemasok memproduksi sebuah produk dan mengirimkannya ke beberapa distributor. Kebijakan perampingan aliran bahan pada pemasok terkait erat dengan penentuan ukuran lot pemesanan bahan baku dan ukuran lot produksi, sementara pada distributor hal ini erat kaitannya dengan penentuan ukuran lot pengiriman produk dari pemasok. Mekanisme koordinasi dilakukan dengan mengadopsi pengali integer (integer multiplier). Ukuran lot produksi diperoleh melalui penentuan panjang siklus produksi, sementara ukuran lot pemesanan dan pengiriman dikoordinasikan melalui frekuensi pengiriman/pemesanan (bernilai integer) selama satu siklus produksi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rumusan matematis yang menghubungkan ketiga variabel keputusan tersebut dengan fungsi tujuan untuk meminimalkan total ongkos dari sistem. Komponen ongkos yang relevan pada kasus ini meliputi ongkos pemesanan bahan baku, ongkos setup, ongkos simpan bahan baku dan produk jadi di pemasok, ongkos simpan di distributor serta ongkos pesan produk jadi.en_US
