dc.description.abstractThere are many of Technical Senior High School among the unity of Muhammadiyah in around Surakarta Region. They have many production facilities as a laboratorium or a production unit. Many skill have been held in their activity, but many skills for production or creating to make some component of a vehicle must be improve. Mechanical Engineering Department of UMS has many basic brainware and many studies that can be applied at many Technical Senior High School among the unity of Muhammadiyah, so that we have a networking among designing and apllication of producing some vehicle components. This practise is how to make a vehicle braking pad. The braking pad material is made from composite that consist of metal powder, natural fiber, fiber glass as strengthening material, and polimers as bonding materials. The braking pad processed by pressing, sintering in certain load and time. Many material can be used in this componen, but the process must be important.in_ID
