dc.description.abstractKeluarga memegang peran sangat penting dalam budaya masyarakat Asia, demikian pula di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan menguji model situasi psikologis (psychological climate) dalam keluarga yang terkait dengan pembentukan generasi penerus yang memiliki karakter yang positif dan berbahagia dalam menjalani fase-fase kehidupan. Penelitian tahun kedua ini bertujuan untuk (1) memahami pola bahasa dan komunikasi dalam interaksi intra keluarga dan pengaruhnya terhadap budi pekerti anak, (2) melakukan kajian meta analisis dan melakukan survey terhadap situasi psikologis dalam keluarga dan keterkaitannya dengan budi pekerti yang dimunculkan dan kebahagiaan yang dirasakan oleh anak. Tahun ketiga penelitian selanjutnya bertujuan untuk (3) merumuskan model situasi psikologis yang kondusif dan telah teruji, untuk mendukung perwujudan budi pekerti yang utama dan kebahagiaan anak menurut telaah Psikologi Islam dan Indigenous. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua pendekatan utama yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dengan diskusi kelompok terarah, pemberian kuesioner terbuka dan wawancara. Pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan dengan metode survey yaitu memberikan skala psikologis kepada partisipan penelitian, melakukan kajian meta analisis dan menguji model yang disusun dengan uji model melalui pendekatan model persamaan struktual (structural equation modelling). Partisipan penelitian adalah keluarga inti di wilayah Kotamadya Surakarta yang bersedia berpartisipasi dalam penelitian. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan adalah dengan tehnik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling (data kualitatif) serta cluster dan quota sampling (data kuantitatif). Analisis data dilakukan dengan kategorisasi data teks (kualitatif), kajian meta-analisis, dan analisis statistik menggunakan analisis regresi maupun uji model dengan model persamaan struktural (SEM). Target hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) artikel berkala ilmiah untuk jurnal nasional maupun internasional (tahun I dan II); (2) suplemen buku ajar tentang Psikologi Keluarga: Psikologi Islam dan Indigenous, dan (3) model penguatan situasi psikologis keluarga dan budi pekerti utama (Psikologi Islam dan Indigenous) yang dapat direkomendasikan kepada masyarakat luas.in_ID
