dc.description.abstract | The quality of higher education to the attention of universities in Indonesia which seeks to improve the quality of institutions adapted to the conditions and environment. Private Universities has unique characteristics and resulting strategy of improving the quality of higher education differently.Human Resources (HR) is a major factor as a determinant of progress and quality of higher education One factor that is significant for understanding the relation of HRM is the organizational culturethe relationship between HR and organizational cultures that have a potential impact organizational effectiveness and quality delivered by William Ouchi Theory Z This study used a qualitative method with research location is two colleges that have been developed in Central Java and DIY. The participants of the study were the leaders which included Vice Rector, the head units such as Human Resources well as lecturers and employees. In this study, a conducive environment can be created through the implementation of Theory Z in the field of education that takes into account the following six elements: 1) trust, 2) self-motivation, 3) the reward system, 4) training to improve the skills, 5) control and shared decision-making and 6 ) quality learning. These elements can be developed through the closeness and friendship, the existence of clear rules, habituation well done continuously, a sense of concern and empathy, professional experience with others, and good communication. | in_ID |
