dc.description.abstractForming student character is not an easy and quick effort. It requires continuous effort and deep reflection to make a series of Moral Choice (moral judgment) that must be followed up with concrete action, so it becomes a practical and reflective. Therefore a lot of elementary schools that offer integrated term, integrated and other flagship programs to develop children's potential in harmony with the planting of character values children as balancing and harmonizing abilities. So there are some schools attempt to deliver the student into our beings, including Kottabarat Surakarta Muhammadiyah elementary school. This article is the result of research that aims to study the process of implementing the guidance of the class teacher in building karater students, because basically the guidance services provided by the teacher to his students able to form characters that can sustain the identity of the next student. This research method is qualitative research. Research is a qualitative research with phenomenological approach naturalistic. The research result shows that the implementation of guidance services implemented comprehensively conducted classroom teacher and teacher assistant in the classroom in elementary school Muhammadiyah Special Programme Kottabarat. The results obtained are that the implementation of the guidance by the teacher was very influential to the formation of the character of the students in the school.in_ID
