dc.description.abstractThis community service was aimed to: (a) give the teacher direct experience through practices through training to create blog for elementary school teachers of Muhammadiyah District Colomadu Karanganyar; (b) use blog as a medium of learning. The traineewas the Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers District Colomadu Karanganyar. Community service with the training program was conducted in SD Muhammadiyah Baturan held on March 20, 2015. The participants of these training were Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers. Stages in this activity, namely: the preparation phase consist of: internal coordination, external coordination, and other preparation; and implementation phase, through lectures, simulations, and practice. Based on the community service, the results were: quantitatively, the results of the implementation of activities can be seen from the things visible both during and upon the activities took place, the number of participants who were already representing each school from elementary school of Muhammadiyah districts Colomadu, as many as 23 participants. Qualitatively, there was gain the knowledge and skills of teachers in using ICT-based information technology, especially for learning media of blog; based observations can be observed enthusiastic participants were quite good during the training; as well as the active participation of the participants indicated by actively asking or requesting assistance when experiencing difficulties during the training.in_ID
