Abstract

To current, All cancer therapies are expensive and have side effects that are not expected and still have risk of secondary cancer in the head and neck. Therefore in need of a new strategy supportive treatment of cancer without surgery, radiation or chemotherapy as a treatment alternative that is cheaper and safer. The purpose of this study was to test ability concentration of ethanol extract of pomegranate seeds as anti-cancer in Sprague Dawley Rats The method used with measure the diameter of cancers in Sprague Dawley Rats after treatment with ethanol extract of pomegranate seeds. Results are expected for the discovery of new anti-cancer from herbal ingredients, especially ethanol extract of pomegranate seeds. In conclusion, the concentration of ethanol extract of pomegranate seeds influential as an anti - cancer on human tongue squamous cell carcinoma in Sprague Dawley Rats and the increases of concentration of ethanol extract of pomegranate seeds followed by a decrease in the size of the diameter of cancer in Sprague Dawley Rats
