dc.description.abstractModern concrete which is made of 100 percent cement has problem with its durability in comparison to pozzolanic concrete produce long time ago. Therefore the utilization of pozzolanic material in as cement replacement, such as rice husk ash, will be beneficial especially for concrete durability. Considering the important of curing for concrete incorporated with pozzolanic material, this research is conducted to study the effect of curing method to the mechanical properties of concrete incorporated with rice husk ash. This research was conducted by testing concrete specimen to find out their strength and absorption for 3 – 28 days of curing. The curing method consists of spraying and soaking in the water for 28 days. In addition a series of OPC Concrete was tested as control mox. The amount of rice husk ash which was used as cementitious replacement was 12.5% from the cement weight. The result shows that the use of rice husks ash improves strength development of concrete in the early age and decrease significantly the concrete absorbtion apropriate with the curing agein_ID
