dc.description.abstract | This study aims to (1) measure and test the effect of age on the compliance of traffic, (2) measure
and test the effect of public education on the compliance of traffic, (3) measure and test the effect of
culture on adherence traffic, and (4) measure and examine the influence of age, education and
culture together to compliance of traffic. Population in this research is the driver of motor vehicles
in the district of Jepara offenses in 2012 as many as 27 223 motorists. While the sample in this
study amounted to 400 people. Based on the results of the t test (t-test) can be concluded: (1) the
age variable significant effect on traffic in the area of legal compliance Jepara Police. Results
thitung>t table (13.198>1.645), so the hypothesis is accepted. Means the adult or mature age of
the rider, the rider will improve adherence to traffic regulations. (2) public education variables
significantly influence adherence traffic, hypothesis testing value t hitung >t table (12.844>1.645).
This means that the higher the education level of the riders, it will affect people's level of
compliance with traffic regulations. (3) cultural variables significantly influence adherence traffic.
A hypothesis test results showed t hitung>t table (18.868>1.645). This means that the person
(rider) has a good culture in the drive, it will affect to the improvement of the public to comply with
traffic regulations. (4) The variables of age, education and culture together significant effect on
adherence traffic. With the value of the hypothesis test showed F hitung>F table (262.889>2.996).
It means that the adult age, higher education and culture are both together in a positive influence
