dc.description.abstractIndo or air pollution becomes more seriou s h ealth problems than outdoors. With the development of technology that is ap plied to man y findings in the room in the form of synthetic objects that precisely describes the dang erous ingredients in them are polish, air fresheners, pa int the walls, an d on e sizeable exposures are cigarettes.Cigarettes con tain more than 4000 elements an d at least 200 of which are harmful to health.The research objectives was to describe the ab ility of Aspergillus flavus and Penicillium sp as a reducing agent of carbon mon oxide in indoor. This type of research is pre-experimental design with Rando mized contro l group only. Independ ent variables are type of fungus (Aspergillus flavus, Penicillium sp , and control), depend ent variable is carbon mono xide concentrations. This research is laboratory scale. The results showed the average con centration of CO ga s experiments using Penicillium sp is 25 ppm, Aspergillus f lavus is 34 ,56 ppm, and control 62 ,3 ppm. Kruskal wallis test w ith α 5% showed p value 0,000 concluded that there are significant differences CO g as concentration after reduction with variou s types of fungus. The next test is used independent t test with p value 0,001 was concluded there is a diff erent decreasing the concentration of gas CO between of Aspergillus flavus d an Pen icillium sp. Con clusion : there is a difference the ability to reduce CO gas between Aspergillus flavus dan Penicillium sp.in_ID
