Tingkat Kecukupan Energi dan Protein pada Status Balita Pemilih Makan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kedungmundu Semarang

Abstract

Pick y eater is the eating disorder which is characterized with several symptoms, there are; troub le eating, refusing to feed, and spewing the food. Picky eater which is continuously occurred on children effects on children nutrition al status being a poor. The research aim is to identif y the relation between picky eater and the sufficient level of energy and protein on children. The research design is cross sectional with analytic research. The sampling are 68 children which stratification ran dom method. It is fou nd 41 children as picky eater a nd 27 children as non picky eater. The questioners are consisted of pick y eater status and food recall 3 times. Statist ical an alysis, Mann Whitney test is used to examine the correlation between independ ent and dependent variab le. The average of sufficient level of energy is 84, 85%±18, 49 of Energy Sufficient Level (AKE) and the protein is 115, 63% ±41, 63% Protein Sufficient Level (AKP). There is the diff erence between picky eater status and the sufficient level of energy p 0,000 < 0, 05, an d there is the difference between picky eater status and the sufficient level of protein p 0,005 < 0, 05.
