dc.description.abstractThis writing discusses the objectives that must be formulated in the lesson plan of English of Elementary School. The problem the English teachers of the Elementary School of Muhammadiyah 14 and 16 of Surakarta have is that they still have the limitation of the capability of formulating the teaching objectives in the writing of the Elementary School English lesson plan. The aim is to improve their capability of formulating the teaching objectives in the writing of the Elementary School English lesson plan. The method is that they are given the material of teaching objectives formulation to be learned deeply, asked to analyze them, given the practice of formulating the teaching objectives, and given some feedback. In formulating them, they are not able to use the correct and appropriate verbs, especially the errors in the formulation of affective objectives. Besides, they sometimes formulate them incompletely, viz. not containing one of the components or some of them. They are not formulated in an appropriate order either. Besides, the first, second, third objective, and so on is not written based on the writing rulesin_ID
