Plane figure as a part of geometryneeds more effort in visualization in order to make it to be more comprehensive. Teacher has to organize a proper method and an appropriate medium to give a plane figure lesson. One way to teach the lesson is by implementing GeoGebra in information and technology (IT) based learning. GeoGebra is an open source software for mathematics that integrates algebra, geometry and calculus. It is able for presentation, authoring tool, not to mention modeling tool, so that it is truly suitable to support geometry learning. However, most of teachers do not have enough skill or even cannot use GeoGebra at all. The training of GeoGebra usage in plane figure learning for teacher is an appropriate solution so that they can do any innovation in their learning method in geometry classes. The training was aimed to introduce the usage of GeoGebra in plane figure learning for mathematics teachers. There were 24 Muhammadiyah mathematics teachers in the district of Sukoharjo who attending the training. The training was conducted actively and interactively in order to give direct practice in operating GeoGebra. Hence, the teachers got real experience in using GeoGebra as a medium of learning and a tool for preparing learning devices. According to post-training survey, 45.8% of teachers said that they wanted a more-detail GeoGebra training. Besides, 95% of teachers were eager to utilize GeoGebra as an innovation in their geometry classes.in_ID
